According to him, today the proportion of people involved in mass sports is 42 percent of the total population. Since the beginning of the year, the city's athletes, having participated in various championships in Kazakhstan, Asia and the world, have won a total of 768 gold medals, 642 silver and 724 bronze medals.
"In accordance with the instructions of the Head of State, we have started the construction of a new modern international-level stadium with 35 thousand seats. Currently, earthworks are underway on the territory of the stadium. In addition, the ELAMAN sports complex for 1,000 people was commissioned at the expense of private investors. By the end of the year, the construction of the mini-football center "SPORT LIFE" for 500 people will be completed in the city," said G.Syzdykbekov.
In addition, the mayor of the city spoke about the measures taken to improve the quality of health services. Today, the level of renovation of the material and technical base of medical institutions has reached 86.5%. This year, 46 doctors have completed advanced training courses in clinics in Russia and Turkey, and by the end of the year, 29 more will improve their experience.
Along with this, for the first time, hospital pharmacy departments were opened in the children's hospital and the perinatal center. By the end of this year, it is planned to open 5 more such departments, as well as a children's cardiac surgery center. In order to improve the quality of ambulance services, 23 special vehicles were purchased.
