This year, 7.7 billion tenge has been allocated for the construction, overhaul and maintenance of roads in Taldykorgan. This was announced today by Akim of the region Beibit Isabayev during a meeting with residents of Taldykorgan, the press service of Akim of the region Zhetisu reports.
In his speech, the head of the region focused on major projects related to road infrastructure. So, in the North-Western residential area, residential districts 8, 9 and Zhastar-1, it is planned to build roads on 107 streets. If 10 streets were completed in previous years, this year another 30 streets will be paved anew. The remaining 67 streets will be fully completed in 2025-2026.
- Major repairs are also being carried out on 89 streets in the residential districts of Vostochny, Yugo-Vostochny, Koktal and the 3rd department, of which 14 streets were repaired this year. The work will be fully completed at the end of 2026. In addition, 7 streets in the Otenai rural district have been completely renovated this year. In the city itself, an average repair of 10 streets has been carried out, in order to ensure road safety, 17.5 thousand square meters of roads have been repaired and 350 hatches have been lifted, 3 traffic lights have been installed in dangerous areas," Beibit Isabayev said.
According to the akim of the region, next year major road repairs will begin in the Zhastar-2 microdistrict, the total cost of which will amount to 3.5 billion tenge, while 500 million tenge has been allocated from the local budget.
- The restoration of asphalt pavement after the replacement of heating networks remains an important issue. In this regard, I instruct the mayor of the city to take special control over the restoration of asphalt pavement and the high-quality installation of hatches," the governor of the region summed up.
