An international scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Zhambyl region was held.
The meeting was attended by akim of Zhambyl region Yerbol Karashukeyev, adviser to the president of Kazakhstan Malik Otarbayev, Deputies of the Senate and Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, prominent public figures, representatives of the intelligentsia, as well as foreign and well-known scientists, professors, historians and the public of the region.
First, the floor was given to the adviser to the President Malik Otarbayev. He delivered a greeting from the head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and congratulated Zhambyl residents on the historic date.
- Zhambyl region, which has witnessed a long history, is the Golden stake of our national mast. Here, our values, our original history, culture and civilization were formed, which became the basis of our country.
The situation in Zhambyl region is under the personal control of the President. As you know, the region is a leader in the field of Agriculture. In recent years, the indicators of chemical and food production have been encouraging. The construction industry is developing rapidly, residential buildings are being built. Achievements in the field of sports are much greater than in other regions. Achievements in the field of education and science are not limited to the national level, but reach the International and world levels, – noted the hard work of the country's brothers.
Yerbol Karashukeyev wished success in the work of the conference and expressed his gratitude to the honored guests.
- Zhambyl is a region rich in history. In the Holy Land, the foundation of the Turkic kaganate and Islamic culture was laid, and the Golden stake of the Kazakh Khanate was laid.
It is known from the history sheet that Muhammad Haidar Dulati, the hero of the Manas song Manas batyr, spent most of his life in this region.
The regional center of Taraz also has a deep history. If you touch the Stone, the history of the city is visible since ancient times, the countries of the world have been looking at it.
Taraz is the center of culture and civilization. Taraz, once at the junction of the Great Silk Road, became a "city of merchants" and connected the culture of the West and the East.
Today, Zhambyl region has established friendly relations with neighboring countries, strengthening cultural, humanitarian and trade ties.
We believe that it is not for nothing that the head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev proposed to hold the "Commonwealth Fair" in Taraz at the Council of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
This will undoubtedly contribute to the further recognition of the sacred Zhambyl region in the international arena, – the governor of the region expressed confidence that the history will be replenished with new facts through the conference.
Deputy of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bekbolat Orynbekov also read a congratulatory letter from the chairman of the Senate Maulen Ashimbayev. Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerbolat Saurykov noted that the core of ancient civilization originated in the Aulieata region, which can be seen through significant events and archaeological excavations.
Candidate of Honorary Consul of the Kyrgyz Republic in Zhambyl region Zhanuzak Beiseubayev and adviser-envoy of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Kyrgyz Republic Zhasulan Khanaliyev sent warm greetings from the forked brother.
Such prominent historians as Madiyar Eleuov, Daria Kozhamzharova, Bereket Karibayev, Dosbol Baigunakov, Zhaken Taimagambetov, Torali Kydyr spoke about the deep facts. The speakers noted that there are a lot of valuable historical sites in this region that have not yet been disclosed, and shared their views on conducting research and museumization of objects.
Sadakatsu Kunitaken, PhD, of the National Institute for the study of cultural heritage and national cultural values "Nara" of Japan, reported on the results of the Japanese-Kazakh archaeological expedition, and Professor Abdullah Gundogdu from Turkey shared his thoughts on the relations of civilization between Talas and Anatolia in the Middle Ages.
At the end of the conference, the poet Maraltai Raiymbekuly read a fiery poem about ancient Taraz, which filled the audience with coral words.
