Several modern healthcare facilities will be built in Taldykorgan to improve the quality and accessibility of medical services for the population. In particular, next year the investor will begin construction of a new oncological dispensary with 200 beds. An unfinished building will also be reconstructed for a polyclinic with 500 visits per shift, and construction of an outpatient clinic has begun this year in the village of Otenay with a population of over 10,000 people, which will accommodate up to 100 people per shift. The work will be completed next year. This became known today during a meeting of the akim of the Zhetisu region, Beibit Isabayev, with the population of Taldykorgan, the press service of the akim of the Zhetisu region reports.
- Next year, construction of a new 200-bed oncological dispensary will begin in Taldykorgan. In June, a trilateral memorandum was signed between the akimat, the Ministry of Health and the investor Kazakhmys Corporation. The cost is 30 billion tenge. Thanks to the support of the President, a building for a polyclinic with 500 visits per shift will be reconstructed in the Southwestern district of the city. Construction and installation work will begin next year. Design and estimate documentation is also being developed for seismic reinforcement with restoration work at the multidisciplinary regional children's hospital. In addition, 97 pieces of equipment worth 2.8 billion tenge and 4 ambulances were purchased for medical organizations of the city this year," B. Issabayev noted.
In parallel, the problem of shortage of medical personnel is being solved. There is a shortage of 87 doctors in the regional center. In order to attract doctors, one-time payments in the amount of 5 million tenge per specialist will be made from 2024. 36 doctors who arrived in Taldykorgan have already received these payments.
As for the field of education, this year 2 public and private schools have been opened in the regional center, 3 private kindergartens and a mini–center have also been introduced in school S.Yntymak.
The spheres of culture and sports are not ignored. A roadmap for the construction of a cultural center in Yerkin village has been developed, and construction and installation work will begin next year.
In addition, a volleyball center, as well as a residential building for the Zhetisu sports complex and a Table Tennis Center, built at the expense of investors, were introduced in Taldykorgan this year. The Central Stadium has been reconstructed, and next year it is planned to build a separate building for rhythmic gymnastics classes.
In general, 101.5 billion tenge was allocated from the regional budget for the construction, reconstruction of infrastructure and social facilities of the city and design work in 2022-2024.
