Projects for the construction of water supply networks to provide high-quality water supply to rural settlements are being actively implemented in the Akmola region. In a number of villages, work has already been completed or is nearing completion.
The construction of new water supply networks has been successfully completed in the villages of Magdalinovka and Khryashchevka in the Atbasar district. These settlements with a total population of 402 people had previously faced serious difficulties due to the decentralized water supply.
The project, which started in December 2021, has become one of the priorities for the region. As part of the program, 22.4 kilometers of new networks were built, replacing only 1 kilometer of old pipes that had been in use since 1976.
According to representatives of the administration, the water supply will be launched before the end of this year.
Another significant project is being implemented in the village of Sochi, where 642 people live. It is planned to build 14.9 kilometers of water supply networks here.
The contract work is performed by SAPA KURYLYS 2007 LLP. To date, the facility is 100% ready, but commissioning remains, the completion of which will allow residents to access clean drinking water by the end of 2024.
The project was financed from the republican and regional budgets.
The construction of water supply networks in Akmola region is part of a comprehensive program to improve infrastructure in rural areas. The implementation of such projects not only solves the problem of water supply, but also contributes to an overall improvement in the standard of living of the population.
