Bekdiyar Kudaibergen, a 9th grade student of Lyceum No. 76 in the capital, became a karate coach for students of his own school, the official website of the Astana Akimat reports.
Bekdiyar conducts training within the framework of the Birtutas Tarbieh program. He has achieved impressive results in karate: he has won the Asian Championship twice, the Kazakh championship six times, is a master of sports in karate and a candidate for the master of sports in judo. The next goal is to conquer the World Cup.
"I want to share my experience in sports within the framework of the Birtutas Tarbieh program. As a volunteer, I teach karate to 4th and 5th grade students for free," said Bekdiyar.
Its main goal is to create conditions for an active lifestyle and effective use of leisure time by schoolchildren. It is important for him that the children have the opportunity to play sports and increase their physical activity.
