"At the event held within the framework of the ""clean Kazakhstan "" program, the environmental situation in the region was discussed and various proposals were made to improve the ecological culture of society, the Regional Communications Service reports."
The Round Table was attended by the head of the Department of ecology of Atyrau University named after H. Dosmukhamedov, professor Mansia Yesenamanova, employees of the Regional Police Department, volunteers and students.
- Each person leaves his ecological mark on nature. Therefore, without harming the environment, we must hand over what we consume to garbage recycling facilities and live a life that is also good for our environment. Our unisarity provides knowledge in the field of Applied Ecology, ecoanalytics, Waste Management in accordance with this topic. Students are engaged in various research projects. In particular, there are such projects as the creation of concrete from sulfur, the creation of stone slabs from tobacco waste and bioplastics. All this pays off, " M. Yesenamanova said.
About 30 people who took part in the meeting performed a QR code test and found out what percentage of environmental damage they cause.
- We often participate in subbotniks as a team. The ecological situation of Atyrau is important for all of us. Everyone can maintain cleanliness and contribute to the improvement of our environment, - said Aizat Gabitovna, a resident of the city.
For reference: since the beginning of the" Taza Kazakhstan " program, 27 subbotniks have been held in Atyrau region, which involved 85,973 people and 1,522 pieces of equipment. As a result, 1763 tons of garbage were removed.
