For the first time, a specialized medical center for percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) has been opened in the Zhylyoy district to provide effective care to patients with cardiovascular diseases during strokes and heart attacks.
34 operations were performed at the center, including 15 patients with stents (stenting), and 19 patients underwent coronary angiography. The PCI consists of a professor, an interventional cardiologist, a cardiac resuscitator, and four mid-level medical staff.
PCI is a surgical method performed through the skin aimed at opening or repairing the coronary arteries that supply the heart with blood.
The main feature of the medical center opened in the Zhylyoy district is the provision of high-tech medical services not only in large cities, but also in remote settlements of the district.
The opening of the facility helps to improve the prevention and treatment of diseases, as well as provide timely medical care. Performing complex surgical procedures on site helps to prevent complications of diseases and reduces the risks associated with patient transportation.
The center is equipped with modern equipment, including angiographs, defibrillators, heart monitors and ventilators.
