AN AIR AMBULANCE BOARD WITH A TEAM OF LEADING SPECIALISTS ARRIVED IN AKTAU

An air ambulance plane landed in Aktau from Astana to provide medical assistance to the victims of the plane crash.
A mobile team of the National Coordination Center for Emergency Medicine of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, consisting of two intensive care physicians, 4 traumatologists, a neurosurgeon and a combat surgeon, arrived on board.
Currently, Vice Minister of Health Timur Muratov is in the Mangystau Multidisciplinary hospital, where 27 victims have been taken. He examines patients who have been injured and traumatized, and deals with the organization of medical care with the involvement of visiting specialists.
29 injured people were taken from the crash site of a passenger plane near Aktau airport to medical institutions in the region. Of these, 27 victims were taken to the Mangystau regional hospital.
Of the 27 patients taken to the hospital, 11 serious patients were admitted to the intensive care unit.
Two children, aged 11 and 16, have been admitted to the regional children's hospital, and they are scheduled to undergo surgery.
