The newborn underwent a complex operation in the Shymkent city Perinatal Center. From the city maternity hospital, a boy was delivered to the intensive care unit of the center, who was born with a weight of 3600g. A baby born with a laryngeal defect is diagnosed with "congenital esophageal atresia, i.e. laryngeal —esophageal snake eye". A team of experienced doctors of the Emergency Center performed the operation "intra-Thoracic esophago-esophagostomy" on the baby.

The child's current condition is stable. Under the close supervision of doctors.

It should be noted that the city Perinatal Center has been performing neonatal surgeries since this year. To date, more than 40 babies born with internal organ defects have undergone complex operations. Currently, neonatal surgeons, anesthesiologists-resuscitators and neonatologists-resuscitators in the department providing resuscitation and intensive care services for infants are working hard to protect babies born with defects from death.
