In the Turkestan region, the Taza Kazakhstan program is conducted in several directions. This was discussed at a meeting of the office of the akim of the Turkestan region. The head of the region, Darkhan Satybaldy, instructed to systematically carry out cleaning and landscaping work.
- The Taza Kazakhstan program is under constant control. The relevant responsibilities have been assigned. Responsible administrations and akimats of districts and cities should not slow down the pace of work. Work will continue on maintaining cleanliness in settlements, improving environmental literacy, and awareness-raising. The whole structure should participate in this case," Darkhan Satybaldy said.
According to the first deputy akim of Turkestan region Zulpikhar Zholdasov, 807 clean-up days are planned to be held within the framework of the Taza Kazakhstan program by the end of the year, 768 clean-up days are organized from June 20 to November 22. From November 18 to November 22, 45 clean-up days were held.
Within the framework of the Taza Kazakhstan program, last week, the state of sanitary cleanliness of the settlements of Shardara and Kazygurt was monitored, spontaneous landfills were identified, special equipment and tools were used in order to eliminate them as soon as possible together with the akimat of the village. In order to develop the economy of rural regions of the region and create a favorable environment for the population, on the initiative of the akim of the region, a competition "Ulgili auyl" was held, where the winner was determined. The necessary social facility has been identified for the winner of the main prize, i.e. for the village of Sharbulak in the Kazygurt district, and it is planned to allocate appropriate funds from the regional budget for the construction of this facility in 2025.
Work has been carried out on cleaning and tidying up the industrial zone of Turkestan. Cleaning, regulation, lighting, and cleaning of the territory were carried out on 70 hectares of sectors assigned to the contractor, responsible departments and the mayor's office of the city. Of the 170 garbage sites identified by the staff of the akim's office, 164 have been put in order, and cleaning works are underway at the remaining 6 sites.
