The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Huawei signed a memorandum
As part of the working trip of the Kazakh delegation to China, headed by the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek, a meeting was held with Huawei Vice President Li Junfeng and Huawei Kazakhstan CEO Max Zhao to discuss prospects for further cooperation and key areas for the development of partnerships. Following the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry and Huawei Technologies Kazakhstan, which will open up new opportunities for the digital transformation of higher education in Kazakhstan.
Within the framework of the Memorandum, pilot projects of smart classrooms are planned to be implemented in 2025, providing the best students with unique opportunities such as internships at Huawei and participation in international competitions. In addition, the company organizes job fairs, contributing to the employment of graduates and their successful integration into the country's digital economy.
Also, the Kazakh delegation at Huawei headquarters got acquainted with the company's advanced innovations, including innovative solutions for digital classrooms and cloud platforms. The trip also included an introduction to the company's advanced technologies, including a visit to the Huawei exhibition hall, where innovative solutions for digital transformation, Huawei Cloud data center and HUAWEI Research and Development center are presented. Special attention was paid to the demonstration of the Smart Classroom, a modern concept of digital classrooms.
Cooperation with Huawei will become the basis for training a new generation of specialists, strengthening Kazakhstan's international positions in the field of digital economy. This step is an important link in the implementation of the state digitalization strategy aimed at improving the level of higher education and creating a competitive knowledge economy. The project highlights Kazakhstan's commitment to the development of advanced technologies and modern ICT skills, which are becoming a key factor in the successful digital transformation of the country.
