The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan has developed amendments to the "List of persons who do not require permission from local executive bodies to attract foreign labor for employment." The document is posted on the Open NPAs portal for public discussion until December 10, 2024.
The amendments are aimed at clarifying the category of persons, including foreign investors, who create legal entities with a one hundred percent share of foreign participation. According to the changes, the first head and his deputy of such legal entities will be able to carry out work activities without obtaining permits from local executive bodies.
