THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NUMBER OF RURAL MEDICAL FACILITIES IS NEARING COMPLETION IN AKTOBE REGION

During a working trip to Aktobe region, Vice Minister of Health Timur Muratov got acquainted with the construction of a number of rural medical facilities within the framework of the national project for the modernization of rural healthcare.
The construction of a new medical center designed for 25 visits per day is being completed in Tokmansai village of Alginsky district. Previously, a local doctor provided assistance to about 300 villagers in a Soviet-built building. Today, a general practitioner's office, a treatment room, a day hospital and a pharmacy are already being equipped in the new point. The opening is scheduled for early December.
Active construction works of a new medical center are continuing in the village of Zharyk in the Mugalzhar district. The construction is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.
Starting from the new year, construction of an extension to create an Interdistrict Center for Percutaneous Coronary Intervention will begin in Mugalzhar District Hospital. This center will improve the quality of medical services for residents of several districts and speed up the work of the emergency service in case of emergencies on the Aktobe-Astrakhan highway.
During the trip, the Vice Minister also visited medical institutions in Aktobe: children's hospitals, a multidisciplinary regional hospital, a perinatal center, a medical center and several polyclinics.
The construction of rural health facilities in the villages of the region continues at a high pace. The implementation of this large-scale project will provide residents of villages with high-quality medical care in modern comfortable conditions.
