– A working group has been established to develop amendments to the current Law on Physical Culture and Sports;
– systematic work is underway to expand cooperation with international federations and upgrade the sports infrastructure;
He informed about measures to increase the tourism potential of the country:
– The Neo Nomad Visa project has been launched, providing new opportunities for foreign travelers;
– on behalf of the President, a comprehensive plan is being developed providing for the development of the Almaty mountain cluster, beach tourism in the resort areas of Mangystau and Burabai;
– A Committee has been established to regulate gambling and lotteries, and work is underway to combat ludomania.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev set a number of tasks for the Minister to further improve the sphere of sports and tourism. In particular, the need was noted to increase the level of work on preparation for the upcoming international sports competitions, as well as to pay attention to the development of padel, a sport that is gaining popularity.
