Akim of Zhambyl region Yerbol Karashukeyev got acquainted with the activities of the 300-seat Center for Children's and Youth Creativity.
The object is located in the Kumshagal massif in Taraz. The two-storey building, which has been empty for the last few years, was commissioned in 1975. Major repairs have been carried out here this year. The construction work was completed in 6 months.
The center is equipped with the latest technology. Within its walls there are free clubs on dombra, fine arts, folk crafts, vocal, dance, robotics, chess, taekwando, and theatrical art.
- There used to be a school here. In 2016, a new school was opened in the massif, and this building was empty. Akimat, rationally using the empty premises, opened a modern center. Now we are sure that our children will spend their free time usefully," says Hansulu Isabayeva, a resident of Taraz.
During the visit, Erbol Karashukeyev gave a number of instructions to increase the coverage of children with additional education.
It should be noted that 78 additional education institutions operate in Zhambyl region.
