Akim of Zhambyl region Yerbol Karashukeyev met with veterans of the region.
The head of the region spoke about the ongoing work and future plans. The main goal is to increase household incomes, make effective use of government programs, attract investment, and create new jobs.
In his speech, he emphasized the special role of veterans in shaping social values among young people.
- I believe that our duty is to serve you, those who have contributed to the socio–economic development of the region, and are now on a well-deserved vacation. Our veterans take an active part in the social life of the region, and also do not tire of sharing their experiences with the younger generation, educating them on their national identity and values," the governor of the region said.
The veterans expressed their opinions on various issues. The head of the region, answering the questions, noted that all the proposals raised at the meeting would be taken into account in further work.
Representatives of the primary organization of veterans Opabek Dosayev, Polina Kim, Zheksen Arynov and Kulyash Nazarbekova were awarded Honorary diplomas of the akim of the region.
