New pre-school and secondary education facilities are being built in Kokshetau. This was told by akim of the region Marat Akhmetzhanov at a reporting meeting with the population of Kokshetau.
This year, 3 new preschool organizations were introduced in Kokshetau, creating 486 places for children. This made it possible to reach more than 87% of children aged 2 to 6 years. Among the new institutions are the special kindergarten "Ayala", the nursery "Nursaya", the private nursery "In Colors" and the expanded "Miras Nursery".
Next year, it is planned to complete the construction of a kindergarten for 280 places for children with speech disorders in the Saryarka microdistrict.
However, there is still a shortage of student places in secondary education, which will be solved by building two new comfortable schools with 1,500 places each. These schools will be equipped with modern technical equipment and will be 20% larger than standard educational institutions. It is also planned to build extensions to three existing schools, which will help reduce the shortage by another 1,500 places.
In addition, construction of a school has begun in the Barmashino district, which will be able to accommodate 500 students, and its commissioning is planned for next year. Also, with the support of the Education Infrastructure Fund, a new building for the Bilim-Innovation boarding school for 588 places is being built, which will be completed in 2025.
"All projects in the field of education in the city must be kept under special control in order to provide comfortable and modern conditions for students," the governor of the region emphasized.
