This year in Kokshetau, the switchgear was upgraded and current repairs were carried out at RK-1 and RK-2, which improved the reliability of the city's energy system. However, the key event was the transition of the CHPP construction to the active phase. This was stated by akim of the region Marat Akhmetzhanov at a reporting meeting with residents of the regional center.
To implement the project, Kokshetau TPP LLP was established. The developer of the design and estimate documentation will be the Russian company Inter-RAO Export LLC. A 170-hectare site and a 130-hectare ash dump have already been allocated for the construction of the CHP. After the state examination, construction and installation work will begin.
"Special attention is paid to the environmental friendliness of the future station. It is planned to install gas cleaning equipment that meets international standards. The use of coal-fired generation, which is relevant in countries such as Russia, China and India, will ensure the rapid supply of technological equipment. In addition, it is possible to switch the station to gas if there is a central gas supply, which will not require additional retrofitting," said the head of the region.
By the way, in September of this year, engineering and geological surveys, topographic work and preparation of sites for temporary structures began. Work continues, and the implementation of this strategically important project will be an important step towards increasing the energy independence of the region.
Special attention is also paid to projects for the development of the city's road network. This year, 5.9 billion tenge has been allocated for the construction and repair of roads. As part of the project, work is underway on the construction and reconstruction of roads in the Saryarka microdistrict, on Gabdullin Street and on the section from Ualikhanov Street to the overpass. The repair of roads in Kokshetau and the village of Krasny Yar has been completed. Construction of access roads to two comfortable schools in the Saryarka microdistrict has begun.
A high-class road was built along Lake Kopa at the expense of sponsorship funds, landscaping was carried out and lighting was installed. This road will significantly reduce the distance between the two districts of the city and will help relieve the main streets of Kokshetau.
