The agro-industrial complex is a strategically important industry for the region. High performance has been achieved in the current agricultural season, with a record grain harvest of more than 6.6 million tons with a yield of over 14 c/ha. This was stated by the head of the region Marat Akhmetzhanov at a reporting meeting with residents of the city of Kokshetau.
Special attention is paid to the processing industry, which plays a key role in increasing the added value of agricultural products.
Four enterprises for the production of meat products "Bijan", "Krasnoyarsk sausages", "Sterkh" and "Kazdelikates" are successfully operating in the city of Kokshetau. Dairy products are represented by such plants as Gormolzavod, Natizhe Day Fabrikasy and Moloko Sinegorye. Flour production is carried out by Sinegor Grain, MK Agroproduct, Kazmelprom and Agrimer Astyk. The products of companies such as Gormolzavod, Bijan and Sinegor Grain are known not only within the region, but also beyond, confirming the high level of quality and competitiveness.
"The main task of the akimat of the city is the further development of the processing industry. Special emphasis should be placed on opening new enterprises, attracting investors and creating conditions for the modernization of existing production facilities. This will significantly increase the volume of processing, expand the range of products and strengthen the region's position in the domestic and foreign markets," the governor of the region emphasized.
The development of the agro-industrial complex and the processing industry, in particular, will be an important step in increasing the economic sustainability of Kokshetau and the region as a whole.
