The Public Foundation "Kazakhstan Khalkyna" has developed a new concept "Small towns – great opportunities". For the first time, it was presented in Karaganda, calling on the business community to partner.
A meeting with top managers of large companies was held in the regional akimat.
– We have ready-made programs and expertise in a number of areas. The purpose of today's meeting is primarily to show the fund's capabilities. We are ready to focus on a specific region. Karaganda region is the first where we present a new concept. We have good cooperation with local executive bodies of the region. There are a lot of joint projects with the Akimat of the region," said Chingiz Sharapiev, head of the Center for Coordination of Charitable Programs and Interaction with Donors of the Kazakhstan Khalkyna Foundation.
The concept assumes a triple alliance to improve the lives of people in small towns. It is proposed to expand the interaction of the foundation, the government and local businesses, adapting charitable programs and projects to specific needs. This approach will solve the problems here and now, according to the developers of the document.
The implementation of the concept will cover the fields of medicine and education, social infrastructure, culture and sports.
– The Kazakhstan Khalkyna Foundation does not just give us new technologies, new equipment. It provides new opportunities. The programs include expert support, training of our specialists so that they can work on these devices. In turn, we, as a local government, allocate money for the installation of equipment, for the repair of offices, infrastructure," said Deputy Akim of the region Ermek Alpysov. – The Foundation offers partnerships. For our part, we are ready to help. The regional budget is socially oriented, more than half of the expenditures are in the social sphere. But business support within the framework of social responsibility is very important. We are waiting for your suggestions.
