This year, 13,700 hectares have been sown with sugar beet in the Zhetisu region, it is expected to receive 615 thousand tons of beet harvest. Currently, 403 thousand tons have been harvested from 8,600 hectares, which is 63% of the total amount of crops. To date, 352 thousand tons of them have been delivered to the Aksu and Koksu sugar factories. This was announced today in Taldykorgan during a briefing at the B. Kuranbek House of Journalists by the head of the regional department of Agriculture Nurdaulet Kenenbayev, the press service of the akim of the Zhetisu region reports.
During the briefing, N. Kenenbayev told reporters in detail about the harvesting of sugar beet and the sale of raw materials to factories. According to him, to date, the remaining 5,100 hectares of 13,700 hectares of beet fields are being intensively harvested. The yield this year is 472 kg/ha, which is a good indicator.
The processing capacity of two plants in the region is 700 thousand tons. To date, the farms of the region have sold 352 thousand tons of raw materials to these enterprises. Both plants have started the recycling process.
- We have thought out the whole process: from sowing to harvesting sugar beet. Beet harvesting operations were started by 103 harvesters. Additionally, funds were allocated from the budget, thanks to which 19 harvesting machines and 20 combines were purchased, which were distributed among farmers. Now, in order to reduce the queue for delivery of products to the Koksu sugar factory, we decided that this enterprise should increase the volume of acceptance from 3 thousand tons to 4 thousand tons. In general, the admission schedule has been updated. Now we have every chance to complete the harvesting on the remaining 5.1 thousand hectares by November 20. In general, the issues of harvesting and delivery of sugar beet are under constant control of the regional operational headquarters, N. Kenenbayev said.
At the briefing, plant managers also focused on the work of enterprises for product acceptance.
- The Koksu sugar factory accepted up to 150-160 machines per day, that is, up to 3 thousand tons of raw materials. Now we are introducing 140 thousand tons of products for processing, which were previously located in the kagat field. But the kagate field will not be completely freed immediately, first, cleaning and cleaning of the territory will be carried out. Now we are preparing an additional site, in this regard, starting tomorrow we will switch to receiving 4 thousand tons per day," said Altynbek Abatov, director of the Koksu sugar factory.
Also, the Aksu Sugar Factory continues to operate in accordance with its regime.
- To date, the Aksu plant has received 210 thousand tons of sugar beet. Until October 22, we accepted about 300 cars a day, now, due to the filling of the cahate field, we accept 160-170 cars daily. Since November 25, the reception of beetroot from Zhambyl region has been suspended. Beetroot is now being accepted from farms in Aksu, Sarkan, and Alakol districts. After November 1, we will start accepting products from the Taldykorgan region," said Samat Nadirbayev, director of the Aksu Sugar Factory.
