Coaches in various sports from the capital recorded a video with the challenge "Cleanliness and discipline — the way to victory!", timed to coincide with the republican eco-action "Taza Kazakhstan", the official website of the Akimat of Astana reports.
Judo, trampoline gymnastics and short track coaches took part in the challenge.
The coach-teacher of the short track department of the children's and youth sports school No. 2 of the Akimat of Astana, Galiya Zhumagazieva, noted that cleanliness begins with each of us and called on her fellow coaches to be an example for the students.
"Cleanliness and discipline begin with order. I always tell my students: a clean room means clean thoughts and a clear goal. This is especially important for an athlete, because the order and cleanliness in the training hall reflect good manners, responsibility and respect for their work.
The main idea of our video is to show that cleanliness in the hall is not just the absence of dust. Every athlete should start with himself, with maintaining order in the training hall.
I am convinced that a true champion is not only the winner of the competition, but also an example for society. A coach should always be an example! We urge all coaches to explain to their students the importance of order and cleanliness," Galiya Zhumagazieva stressed.
The Department of Physical Culture and Sports of Astana informs that such preventive and explanatory work is carried out on an ongoing basis.
"Explanatory events aimed at educating the younger generation are held on a regular basis in sports schools and institutions subordinate to the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of Astana city. Special attention is paid to instilling a culture of order and cleanliness, explaining the harmful effects of vandalism, as well as drug addiction prevention. These works are being carried out systematically and will be continued in the future as a good tradition," said Madina Aitkalieva, spokeswoman for the city sports department.
This challenge is part of the republican environmental campaign "Taza Kazakhstan" and is aimed at forming a culture of responsibility and respect among young people.
