Today, festive events "Kenen zherim Koksumu" dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the district were held in Balpyk bi village of Koksu district. During the event, an exhibition, a book presentation, cultural and sports competitions were organized for the Jubilee public, the press service of the governor of Zhetysu region reports.
The festive event was attended by akim of the region Beibut Isabayev, guests from far and wide, the public of the district. First of all, the guests got acquainted with the exhibition, which presents handicrafts, works of masters of the brush, works related to the life and work of outstanding personalities. Opening the curtain of the solemn event, the Mukyr folk theater presented a theatrical performance telling the history of the creation of the district.
Congratulating the koksu people on their anniversary, Beibut Isabayev noted that today's achievements of the region, which was the Golden Cradle of common Kazakh people, such as Eskeldi bi, Balpyk Aulie, Kabylisa zhyrau, Kalka Zhasarbayev, Socialist Yibek men Nurmolda Aldabergenov, Zylikha Tamgybayeva, are encouraging:
- The Koksu district, where the land is Maysa, water is rich and prosperous, is located at the junction of nine roads, along the Kure road. This gives a great opportunity for the socio-economic development of the district. Today, koksu people are successful in the main sectors of the economy and contribute to the prosperity of the region. Over the past 9 months, the production of agricultural products in the district amounted to 25.8 billion rubles. the volume of industrial production amounted to 27.6 billion tenge. "I'm sorry," he said. In total, in 2023-2024, 16 billion rubles were allocated from the regional budget for the construction, reconstruction and design of infrastructure and social facilities of the district. more than tenge was spent. The 80 – year history of the district is the history of Labor, heroism, unity. It is clear that today's wedding will be a lot of teaching for generations, - he expressed warm wishes and good wishes to the residents of the district.
Honorary citizen of Zhetysu region, veteran of Labor Nauryz Kylyshbayev and deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bolat Kerimbek addressed their compatriots with congratulations and wished them growth and prosperity.
After that, the book "Kutka kundaktandy Koksumu" was presented, which was published for the anniversary, and the winners of the akyns ' contest "Arkalyk Meken-Koksumu" were awarded.
On this day, a festive concert program was presented to the public and various sports games were organized. In particular, competitions in hand wrestling, weight lifting, Kunan Baiga, and alaman Baiga were held.
Recall that Koksu district was founded on May 8, 1944. About 40 thousand people live in the settlement area in the northern region of Zhetysu. It is located 18 km from the regional center.
