Today, a patriotic campaign to raise the national flag on the occasion of the Republic Day was held in Zhetysu region, the event covered all districts and cities. Only in one regional center, about a thousand people took part in the action, - the press service of the Akim of Zhetysu region reports.
In Taldykorgan, akim of the region Beibut Isabayev, representatives of the intelligentsia, civil servants, deputies, employees of Institutions-Organizations of the region, the military sphere, law enforcement agencies, active youth, representatives of non-governmental organizations, residents of the city, a total of about a thousand people took part in the solemn event in front of the flagpole in the park "Zhastar".
The patriotic action began with the solemn raising of the national flag to the sky. The choir of singers of the Regional Philharmonic named after D. Rakishev and the folklore and ethnographic ensemble "Taldykorgan auenderi", military personnel, schoolchildren, general participants, accompanied by a military orchestra, performed the National Anthem live.
Patriotic songs were performed at the solemn meeting.
It should be noted that today such patriotic actions were held simultaneously in all districts and cities of the region.
