The Jarqyn bolashaq project aimed at preventing ludomania and fraud among young people is being implemented in Astana on the initiative of the Astana Zhastary IDC, the official website of the city akimat reports.
As part of the Jarqyn bolashaq project, lectures are held at universities and colleges, which are conducted by experienced psychologists and addictologists from the Komek center for Rehabilitation and Treatment of Addictions.
The organizers conduct trainings, meetings and active events for young people. Among these are bowling and paintball matches, which give young people the opportunity to find alternative ways of recreation and entertainment that are not related to gambling.
Criminal police officers participate in lectures on the risks of fraud, who explain how not to become victims of intruders and inform about criminal liability for participation in criminal schemes.
Meetings are organized for parents of schoolchildren in grades 8-11, where they discuss methods for detecting ludomania in adolescents and ways to solve this problem.
The project is aimed at young people between the ages of 15 and 23, including schoolchildren, college and university students. Within its framework, steps are being taken to combat gambling advertising, including outdoor anti-advertising and information about hotlines where you can get help.
"The Jarqyn bolashaq project is a significant contribution to the prevention of risks faced by modern youth. We support such initiatives because they help not only highlight the problems of ludomania and fraud, but also offer alternatives that promote a healthy lifestyle and the development of positive personal qualities. This is an important step in the formation of a conscious and responsible youth environment, and we are pleased to support such projects that ensure a future without dependence and deception," said Olzhas Amangeldy, a specialist at the Astana Zhastary MRC.
