The capital's schoolgirl Alanna Berikkyzy has become a two-time world chess champion, the official website of the city akimat reports.
The 5th grade student of Astana Gymnasium No. 91 became the world champion in international chess competitions (U8-U12) in Italy for the second time.
It should be noted that last year Alanna won the title of world champion in Greece among chess players under 9 years old.
