Within the framework of the project" Astana – a city without drugs", the next meeting on the Prevention of drug addiction was held in the school-gymnasium No. 74 named after Mukagali Makatayev. The main purpose of the meeting is to explain the harm of narcotic drugs to future life, to avoid negative habits, to educate in a healthy lifestyle.
"Teenagers are often involved in the distribution of drugs. Because it is easier for them to exert their influence than for others. According to the specialist, one of the main causes of drug addiction among adolescents is the feeling that no one needs it.

Teenagers want imitators. Therefore, experts say that once he used drugs, nothing could happen, and as a result, he did not know that he was a drug addict.
At the end of the speech, the psychologist told the students that "it is important not to forget that drugs do not solve human problems."
"Criminal liability for a number of crimes begins at the age of 14. For the distribution of drugs and their storage, he faces up to 20 years in prison. This means that about half of a person's life is spent behind bars. It is true that after leaving it, the person will not have fun. And the attitude of society to such a person will also be different. For example, this year more than 150 people have been brought to justice in Astana for illegal trafficking of narcotic drugs and Psychotropic Substances. These are people aged 16 to 45 years, " said Azamat Toktarbay, senior prosecutor of the prosecutor's Office of Astana.
