The II Republican Forum of Methodologists on the theme "Transformation of methodological centers: a vector of development and a strategic role in the context of modern challenges" has started in the capital, the official website of the Mayor's Office of Astana reports.
The event brought together about 60 methodologists from all regions of Kazakhstan. It is attended by representatives of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Academy of Education named after I. Altynsarin, as well as education departments of cities of republican significance and regions of the country.
The purpose of the forum is to discuss topical issues related to improving the activities of methodological centers and to develop proposals aimed at improving the quality of methodological work.
During the plenary session of the forum, Chairman of the Secondary Education Committee of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kanybek Zhumashev presented the main statistical data on the development of the educational system in Kazakhstan, and also informed in detail about the indicators of the quality of education both in the country as a whole and in individual regions.

In her speech, the head of the Methodological Center of the Akimat of Astana city, Syndar Daueshova, stressed that the mission of this event is to improve the skills of methodologists, which, in turn, will contribute to high-quality training.
"Such initiatives open up new horizons for young teachers and support their creative endeavors, forming a reliable basis for the further development of the capital's education," the speaker added.
The forum was also attended by the expert community, scientists and representatives of methodological centers, which allowed creating a space for open dialogue and exchange of ideas.
Ayymgul Baltabayeva, head of the Methodological Center of Kostanay region, shared her impressions.
"Today we have received very important information and recommendations that we can apply in our work. We will also get acquainted with successful schools that are ready to share their experience. Since we all came from the regions, this format of the event is very useful for us.
I am glad to be a participant in this forum and I am sure that I will gain new knowledge that is necessary to achieve our main goal — improving the quality of education. With each school and each teacher, we identify the difficulties they face and jointly find solutions. We hope that such work will bring positive results and increase the effectiveness of our methodological service," Ayymgul Baltabayeva added.
It should be noted that the II Republican Forum of Methodists will be held in the capital from November 28 to November 30. A pedagogical hackathon is expected to be held tomorrow. For the first time, a facilitated session will be organized in this format, where participants will be able to work on proposals for further transformation of the activities of methodological centers.
"I hope that a roadmap will be drawn up. In the future, we will gradually carry out work on the transformation of the activities of methodological centers," concluded Madina Tynybayeva, President of the I. Altynsarin National Academy of Education.
The third day of the forum will be dedicated to professional development. Master classes on media literacy and the use of artificial intelligence in the educational process are planned on the basis of the Altynsarin House of Books.
