Action plans are being implemented in the regions to prevent fires in the residential sector during the heating period, deaths from fires and carbon monoxide poisoning.
So, employees of the emergency department of the Ulytau region, together with local executive bodies, the police, and the volunteer organization Birlik, have conducted a tour of more than 882 residential buildings since the beginning of the heating season and explained the rules of fire safety.
In order to carry out preventive work, according to the data of social protection bodies and local executive bodies, lists of socially vulnerable segments of the population living in 365 individual residential buildings with stove heating have been formed. The installation of carbon monoxide sensors in the homes of this socially vulnerable group continues in stages. Currently, more than 93 sensors have been installed.
"For us, the safety of citizens is in the first place, for this we regularly carry out preventive work in the residential sector. We remind citizens to observe the basic rules of fire safety in order to avoid fires in the house," said Chingiz Samiev, Deputy head of the Emergency Department.
