From October 24 to 28, 2024, the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship was held in Heraklion (Greece). 970 athletes from 58 countries gathered at the international tournament to test their strength and demonstrate their skills and skills. Competition among athletes from all over the world was high.
Among the participants representing Kazakhstan was the technician of the fire department No. 2 of Shymkent, Talent Toktybayev. Having succeeded both in activities and in sports requiring responsibility and perseverance, the Talent performed in the 85 kg weight category in the JU-JITSU CONTACT section. Thanks to his skill and perseverance, he took first place and won the gold medal.
This victory was not only a significant achievement in the sports career of Toktybayev's talent, but also an important contribution to increasing the international prestige of Kazakhstani jiu-jitsu. Having started playing sports at the age of 8, Talant Toktybayev is now a three-time champion of Kazakhstan, three-time world champion and holder of the title of Master of sports of international class.
