Akim of Almaty Yerbolat Dosayev visited the Samal Water plant in Turksib district, where he got acquainted with the results of reconstruction and plans for further expansion of production.
The Business Park Navigator LLP plant specializes in the production, delivery and sale of drinking water. The reconstruction of the enterprise was completed in 2024 and includes the replacement of engineering communications, installation of modern equipment for the production of drinking water, landscaping of the adjacent territory (asphalting, lighting, landscaping).
The total volume of investments is 12.4 billion tenge, additional investments are 5.7 billion tenge. 336 permanent jobs have been created at the plant, annual tax deductions amount to 215 million tenge, with an increase to 282 million tenge after the completion of modernization. The plant plans not only to increase production volumes, but also to strengthen its position in international markets, including exports to Russia, China, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
On the territory of the plant there are two artesian wells with a depth of 250 meters, providing high water quality, and its own fleet, including 15 long-range trucks and 125 trucks for product delivery. The company has two production lines: filling water into PET bottles with a volume of 0.25 to 2 liters and a volume of 6 liters.
As part of the next stage of modernization in 2024-2025, it is planned to install a new water bottling line in glass bottles, launch a line of flavoring drinks, and increase production capacity to 15 million liters per month.
Yerbolat Dosayev noted that the plant's project is an important example of successful investments in the manufacturing sector of Almaty, which contributes to economic growth, creation of new jobs and expansion of the city's export potential.
