Cleanliness campaigns within the framework of the Taza Kazakhstan program continue in the Zhetisu region

Since the beginning of the launch of the republican environmental program "Taza Kazakhstan", more than 251 thousand residents of the region, including employees of enterprises and government agencies, volunteers, youth, representatives of small businesses, have already participated in sanitary cleaning, landscaping, landscaping and cleaning of territories of cultural and historical monuments and cultural objects, as well as eliminating the consequences of vandalism in the Zhetisu region and medium-sized businesses.
Today, on November 29, the youth of the region organized an ecological quest game "Eco-quest" from the village of Otenai in Taldykorgan. Over 100 people from among active youth, students of professional technical education organizations in Taldykorgan and villagers participated in the event, which aims to instill in young people an understanding of the importance of maintaining a clean environment and participating in public works and social life. The eco-quest was held in 5 locations, and 15 teams took part in it. The participants cleared the designated places of debris, overcame various obstacles, and answered cognitive questions. By the way, the quiz questions were devoted to the history of the Zhetisu region, important natural and sacred places. The teams recognized as the best were awarded special prizes.
Timur Gubashev, Deputy Head of the Department of Public Development of the Zhetisu region, stressed: "I would like to note that the Taza Kazakhstan program, conducted with the support of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, has acquired a large-scale republican level. The essence of the program is not only to keep the streets clean, but also notes the importance of maintaining cleanliness within oneself. The main idea of "Taza Kazakhstan" is the formation and rooting in the mass consciousness of a new environmental and social ethics, which should be supported by all Kazakhstanis."
In turn, the chairman of the regional branch of the Alliance of Students of Kazakhstan in the Zhetisu region, ecovolonter Eskendir Imandos noted: " Within the framework of the Taza Kazakhstan program, which started in April, the youth of the region organized more than 500 events. It is obvious that when attracting young people to do good deeds, their interests must be taken into account. By organizing this eco-quest, we wanted to show that even during clean-up days, you can spend time in an interesting way, while also benefiting your native land. Thus, we gradually attract more and more young people, teach them to take care of their native land."
It should be noted that since the start of the Taza Kazakhstan program, 2,322 units of equipment have been involved in the Zhetisu region, as a result of which 12,822 tons of garbage have been removed. Work was carried out to clean up 193 parks and squares, 721 historical and cultural monuments. During the campaign, more than 56 thousand seedlings of coniferous and deciduous trees were planted in the region.
In general, the actively organized republican environmental program "Taza Kazakhstan" has found great support among the general population of the region.
