A cognitive and ethnographic competition "Shashbaulym" was held in the capital, organized by the public Association "Kara shanyrak". For the second year in a row, 16 beauties from universities and colleges took part in the competition, the official website of the mayor's office of the city reports.

According to the national traditions of the Kazakh girl, it was aimed at popularizing such diverse national qualities as decency, beauty, dexterity, decency, humility, beauty, identifying the intellectual and creative abilities of girls, promoting the curls of girls with long hair. Also, the main idea of the competition is to educate girls in cultural, ethical, spiritual and cognitive values, to instill in them the qualities inherent in the upbringing of girls through the customs of the Kazakh people, to modernize the traditions, customs, national costumes of our nation, to promote among young people, to instill in our girls the colostrum, food and fashion of our nation," said Turar shaken, director of the public Association "Kara shanyrak".
The participants competed in three stages. First, during the period" I am a Kazakh girl", the girls presented themselves, and in the second part" Onerli bolsansen, ozyp Kem", they showed folk dances, vocal numbers and other performances. The last section was called" my national value is my spiritual treasure", and the participants were asked intellectual questions related to the national value.
Among the participants of the competition for the first time was Sandugash Les, a student of the Eurasian humanitarian institute named after A. Kusainov.
"I am a 1st year student of the Faculty of history. I am one of the most active students in my educational institution, so senior students recommended me to this competition. All participants of the competition are beautiful women. I personally know that today's Kazakh girl should be like this. I believe that kazakhism is measured not only by appearance, but also by the richness of the soul and patriotism," the participant said.
According to the results of the competition, the main prize was won by a student of the College of Service and tourism Nargiz Malikova. He was presented with a national work, a valuable item – silver shashbau, made by the famous jeweler Berik Alibay. And the 1st place was awarded to the jeweler's work-a talisman for a student of the College of catering and service, Beautiful – AI Islam. The 2nd place was taken by Aruzhan Abilmansurova, a student of the Kazakh agrotechnical research university named after S. Seifullin, who was presented with a silver set. The 3rd place was shared by students of L. Gumilyov Eurasian National University Assiya Abdollayeva and Aisha Zhandildayeva, who were presented with silver earrings.
Other beauties were distinguished in a number of nominations, they were awarded with bird's-eye ring and ecodorbes of the Kazakh style "Kazaksha sozayyk" collection.
