By order of the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Asset Bagdatovich Shonov was appointed Chairman of the Migration Committee of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
A. Shonov was born in 1986 in the Akmola region.
He graduated from the L.N. Gumilev ENU and the Eurasian Humanitarian Institute.
Over the years, he worked as an expert in the structures of the Ministries of Economy and Budget Planning and Finance.
From 2013 to 2014, he was the Head of the Planning Sector of the Planning and Budget Department of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From 2014 to 2017, he held the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Strategic Planning and Analysis of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From 2017 to 2019, he worked as Director of the Design Management Department of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Director of the Department of Social Assistance of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From 2019 to 2021 – Deputy Head of the Economic Department of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From 07/15/2021 until his appointment, he held the position of Director of the Legal Service Department of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
