The Akmola Department of Emergency Situations has received a new batch of equipment, which will significantly increase the efficiency of rescuers. As part of the update, 292 sets of combat clothing for firefighters and 80 sets of uniforms for rescuers were received.

The purchase of equipment was carried out with the support of the Minister of Emergency Situations, Major General Genghis Arinov. Among the new kits are domestic BOP—1 kits and Finnish helmets with improved characteristics: two types of flashlights, action cameras and noise-canceling headphones.

Special attention is paid to water operations: a new Marlin 830 WA boat has been placed at the disposal of rescuers. Modern navigation systems and powerful engines make it possible to effectively respond to incidents in the reservoirs of the region, especially during floods.

By the end of the year, 17 more units of special equipment are expected to be delivered, including vehicles for emergency rescue operations.

"Updating the material and technical base makes it possible to significantly increase safety and efficiency in responding to emergencies," said Bakytzhan Alashov, acting head of the Emergency Department of the Akmola region.
These steps are aimed at improving the work of rescuers and increasing the safety of residents of the Akmola region.
