The results of the Republican Olympiad in the natural and mathematical direction among students of rural schools have been summed up in Astana. 41 students from our region took part in the final stage of the Olympiad, of which 23 students became winners. The portfolio of Turkestan region was replenished with 7 Gold, 4 silver and 12 bronze medals. These children are talented young people from the most remote regions of our region. In general, at the Republican Olympiad, students of the Turkestan region were awarded the title “best Olympic team - 2024”.
On the direct instructions of the minister of education and science Gani Beisembayev, the Republican Olympiad is organized for the second year in a row in order to identify talented and knowledge-hungry students of rural schools. About 900 students took part in the first regional stage of the Olympiad, 71 of them received a ticket to the Republican stage of the Olympiad. Of these, 41 students went to the Republican stage in the natural and mathematical direction, 30 students-in the humanitarian direction. This indicates the increased interest of rural schoolchildren in intellectual competitions, the high status of the Republican Olympiad.
