The JOLTAP social program opens the way for citizens of the capital to learn new professions for free. Despite the different levels of experience, the project participants were able to become qualified specialists in a short time, the official website of the mayor's office of Astana reported.
Elvira Toktamys, who studied sewing skills as part of the JOLTAP project, shared her opinion about the 3-week course. In his speech, a resident of Astana noted that in a short period of time, training not only to sew, but also to cut and sew a certain style of clothing is a big step towards becoming a qualified specialist.
"It's been a long time since I learned to sew and set myself the goal of making it my profession. Before this JOLTAP program, I attended two different paid courses, although it was only this course that helped me improve my skills and become a good seamstress. At first, when I taught simple sewing techniques, I thought "what's the use", but thanks to these lessons, I was able to repeat the shape of any outfit," says Elvira Tokhtamys.
Elvira is an individual entrepreneur and HR specialist. He also lectures and teaches new accountants to work in the Exsel and 1C programs. Therefore, the work of the teachers of this project was highly appreciated.
"It's hard for me to give lectures to two audiences a day. And our teacher was always open and ready to help, even if he gave lectures for ten hours a day. Even as a specialist, you will notice that his work skills are huge," the project participant said.
