AMBULANCE CREWS HANDLED OVER 7 MILLION CALLS

From January to October of this year, emergency medical teams in Kazakhstan handled over 7 million calls.
Despite the increased number of calls compared to last year, the key indicator of successful resuscitation increased by 7.1%, reaching 51.7% of all cases.
The average time of arrival of the SMP team from the moment of receipt of the call to "103" to the arrival to the patient corresponds to the standard: in the 1st category of urgency – 9 minutes, in the 2nd category of urgency – 12.3 minutes, in the 3rd category of urgency – 17.9 minutes, in the 4th category – 24.3 minutes.
The NSR service in the country is represented by 20 independent stations, 98 urban substations and 232 district offices.
There are 1,491 mobile teams in one shift in regional and city ambulance stations, and 446 teams operate in the departments of the NSR at PHC organizations to service calls of the 4th category of urgency in the republic.
The level of equipment with an automated call management system (ACS) in Astana, Almaty, Shymkent and 17 regions is 100%.
To date, the balance of the ambulance service has 2,355 units of sanitary vehicles, of which 1,482 units in the city and 873 units in rural areas.
