The quality of education has also improved significantly.
"On behalf of the Head of State, 8.2 billion tenge has been allocated for the reconstruction of 226 rural schools in the region within the framework of the project "Reconstruction of 1000 schools in small towns and villages". According to the project "Developing the potential of small rural schools using digital technologies", 12 basic and 134 small schools were renovated. With the financial support of the Kazakhstan Khalkyna Public Foundation, the material and technical database of small schools was strengthened. 46 schools are provided with high-speed Internet, including through the Starlink system. 54.4 million tenge has been allocated to stimulate teachers involved in the project. 1,068 teachers and 204 school principals have completed advanced training courses. Training seminars and webinars were held, and methodological recommendations were developed. As a result, the quality of education in small schools improved by 4-11%. The problem of personnel shortage in small schools has been solved through the integration of online learning. Work on the development of rural schools will continue," Zhaiyk Sultan said.
"One of the priorities of our region is to create conditions for all children to receive high-quality education, regardless of where they live: in the city or in rural areas. We see that there is an educational gap between urban and rural schools, but our goal is to overcome it. To do this, we are systematically strengthening the material and technical base of rural schools, improving the skills of teachers and providing access to modern technologies. The development of rural schools is an investment in the future of our region and the whole country," the mayor said during the meeting.
