In the Karatal district of the Zhetisu region, a block-modular house of culture for 150 places and a sports and recreation complex were introduced. New facilities have appeared in the village of Eskeldy bi, where 3,200 residents live. There have been no such facilities in this settlement for more than 30 years, the press service of the akim of the Zhetisu region reports.
The new house of culture and the FOC, located nearby, meet all modern requirements, they have created the necessary conditions for organizing cultural, sports events and useful leisure activities. Their construction was started at the end of May this year.
- I was born and raised in this village. We are very pleased with the current positive changes in its development. Now our young athletes will train in their native village, but before they had to go to training in Ushtobe, and this is 7 kilometers after all. Now everything is here, nearby. And now we have a new house of culture. Otherwise, we haven't had a recreation center or a sports complex since the 90s. Very beautiful, modern buildings where you can do sports and creativity, - local resident Elizabeth Shin shared her opinion.
By the way, in a two-storey FOKA building with a total area of 800 sq. m. There are game rooms, a boxing and wrestling room, and gym classes. It will have sections for wrestling, volleyball, basketball, chess and togyzkumalak.
As for the new house of culture, it is designed for 150 seats. It has an assembly hall, a library with a reading room. It is planned to open vocal clubs, dombra and kobyz playing, and dancing.
- We are very happy about the appearance of these objects necessary for the development of the village. It is necessary, first of all, for the youth and for us, the older generation. Let there be more such kind and useful events," said village elder Toleukhan Suttibayev.
In total, thanks to the commissioning of two new facilities, 30 permanent jobs have been created in the village.
