The Ministry of Science and Higher Education has presented an innovative AI-Sana program on artificial intelligence
Yesterday, on December 11, the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek, presented the AI-Sana artificial intelligence program to the Head of State. This initiative is aimed at creating favorable conditions for the training of qualified personnel and the development of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, providing a new impetus for the scientific and technological development of the country.
AI-Sana is a unique program aimed at the comprehensive development of skills in the field of artificial intelligence among students. It covers 100,000 participants, focusing on unlocking the potential of AI in the national economy and supporting technological entrepreneurship. Special attention is paid to the creation of DeepTech startups that can become a driver of technological and economic growth in Kazakhstan.
The program was developed with the participation of international experts. Paul Kim, Chief Technology Officer and Associate Dean of the Stanford Graduate School of Education, played a leading role in its formation. The development also uses the experience of experts from Stanford University, Imperial College London, King's College London, Royal Academy of Engineering, as well as innovative platforms SETsquared and UKSPA.
These partners provide access to cutting-edge knowledge and best practices, enabling the program to combine global expertise and local needs.
AI-Sana includes the integration of educational, research and applied approaches aimed at:
Formation of fundamental knowledge and skills in the field of AI.
Training of specialists for the implementation of AI in key sectors of the economy.
Creating a sustainable ecosystem that promotes the generation of DeepTech startups based on universities and research institutes.
The program is aimed at transforming approaches to teaching and research, allowing universities to move from a traditional educational to a research format.
AI-Sana will become one of the main drivers and the main one for the formation of the ideology of the startup nation. The program promotes the development of human capital, the introduction of high-tech solutions and the support of technological entrepreneurship, creating a platform ecosystem for the formation of a knowledge-based economy of the future.
