The grand opening of the new building of the district police department took place in the Korday district.

The first deputy akim of Zhambyl region Nurzhan Kalenderov and deputy head of the PD Mukhtar Amanbekov attended the opening ceremony and got acquainted with the technical equipment of the department. They expressed confidence that the new facility will have a positive impact on improving the work of the police.​

The building is equipped with all the modern equipment necessary for receiving citizens, and conditions have been created for effective service to employees.​

Korday district is the most densely populated district of our region (with more than 155 thousand residents), bordering the Kyrgyz Republic. 157 police officers guard the peace and ensure the safety of Korday residents.

A three-story administrative building for 150 people was built in the new building for the police. The office rooms are equipped with video surveillance cameras, Internet, computer equipment, and it is possible to serve several people at the same time. There are recreation rooms, a kitchen, a dining room, and a library.

​Much attention is paid to the sports training of police officers. In addition to the sports complex, there is also a shooting range and a weapons room.

During the opening ceremony, a 78-year-old local resident came to the police station and, performing the Kazakh national tradition, gave a blessing, wishing for a peaceful sky and prosperity in the new year.
