The city mayor Gabit Syzdykbekov attended the key-handing ceremony and congratulated the happy guests. Families who have received new housing have been busy cutting the ribbon of their homes.

The homes commissioned on the eve of the holiday are located in the Asar-2 and Turan microdistricts.

The construction of the homes was carried out by the contractors "Integra Construction KZ" LLP and "Altyn Construction" LLP.

Among the new residents are large families and citizens from socially vulnerable groups of the population.

The pace of construction in our country is increasing every year. Today, state programs implemented on the instructions of the head of state are directly aimed at ensuring a comfortable life for Kazakhstanis. Among them, special attention is paid to providing everyone with housing. Today's housewarming party is proof of this.

It should be noted that in 2024, within the framework of the state program in the city of Shymkent, it is planned to provide 1,000 citizens registered on the housing queue (orphans and children left without parental care - 200, large families - 351, vulnerable groups of the population - 449) with rental apartments without the right to purchase.

Of these, 597 apartments have been put into operation to date (orphans and children left without parental care - 136, large families - 288, socially vulnerable groups of the population - 173). In addition, 280 rental apartments that were transitional from 2023 were occupied this year.

Under state programs "2-10-20" and "5-10-20", contracts were concluded for 60 multi-storey residential buildings with 1,793 apartments (including 42 multi-storey residential buildings with 1,041 apartments transitional from 2023) on a preferential credit basis this year and were handed over to citizens through the Family Bank.

In order to increase the availability of credit housing and encourage low-income citizens, this year 519 families received credit housing through a non-refundable social assistance housing certificate from the local budget.

​This year, 5 billion tenge from the local budget and 3 billion tenge from Otbasy Bank JSC, a total of 8 billion tenge, are allocated for the Kamkor regional program, and it is planned to provide loans to at least 400 families this year.
