THE SECOND PHASE OF THE ZINC OXIDE PRODUCTION PLANT WAS OPENED IN SHYMKENT

The second stage of the Standard Steel KZ LLP lead waste processing plant, which produces non-ferrous metal concentrate, was launched in Shymkent. The opening ceremony was attended by the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yerlan Nysanbayev, and the city mayor, Gabit Syzdykbekov.

 

In his speech, the head of the megalopolis noted that the launch of production will not only contribute to the development of the city's economy, but also reduce the environmental impact of the activities of industrial enterprises.

 

«In our country The industrial sector is developing rapidly, the number of enterprises is increasing every year. As a result of comprehensive support from the state, jobs are being created and the well-being of citizens is improving,” said G. Syzdykbekov.

 

The investment project, worth a total of more than 13 billion tenge, has provided employment to about 300 people. Since the implementation of the first stage, the plant has produced more than 4,600 tons of copper-silver concentrate per year. The launch of the facility will allow the enterprise to increase production volumes and produce an additional 20 thousand tons of zinc oxide annually.
