On the eve of the New Year, a number of social facilities have been commissioned in Shymkent. The mayor of the city, Gabit Syzdykbekov, took part in the opening of a comfortable 2,000-seat school in the village of Nurshuak.

Secondary school No. 149 has 80 classrooms with interactive whiteboards, a canteen, several language computer labs, laboratory rooms, a library, workshops, and a coworking center. The sports infrastructure includes four halls and outdoor playgrounds for outdoor games. There are also classrooms for additional classes.

It is worth noting that the national project "Comfortable School" is aimed at solving the problems of shortage of student places, liquidation of emergency schools and three-shift education.
