Today, on New Year's Eve, 105 more families in the Zhetysu region enjoyed the joy of housewarming. Citizens on the waiting list in the cities of Taldykorgan and Zharkent were handed over the keys to their homes, - the press service of the Zhetysu region akim reported.

In particular, 25 families with many children in Taldykorgan were handed over the keys to houses in the "Bereke" cottage town.

One of the new residents, Gulnur Nurymbetova, a mother of 7 children:

- This was a great New Year's gift for my family. I have been on the waiting list for more than 10 years. We have been waiting for this moment for a long time. I sincerely thank all the citizens who brought joy to our family, - she said.

In general, work is being carried out in Taldykorgan to provide those on the waiting list with affordable housing. Since the beginning of the year, 1,283 apartments have been provided in the city. These are mainly rental and credit housing. In 2025, it is planned to provide housing to another 1,448 families on the waiting list.

In the city of Zharkent, Panfilov district, an 80-apartment housing complex was put into operation. The new apartments were received by those on the waiting list in the category of socially vulnerable groups, orphans, large families and other categories of citizens.

It should be noted that since the beginning of the year, about 700 people on the waiting list in the Panfilov district have been provided with housing.
