Today, on New Year's Eve, 40 official vehicles were handed over to the police agencies of the region in the Zhetysu region. The keys to the new vehicles were handed over by the regional akim Beibut Isabayev on the square near the "Zhastar" Sports Palace in Taldykorgan, - the press service of the Zhetysu region akim reports.

At the solemn event, the regional akim congratulated the law enforcement officers on the New Year and wished them success in their difficult and responsible work:

 - The stable development of the region is directly related, first of all, to maintaining public order, ensuring the safety of the population and the peace of the country. You have a great responsibility in implementing the tasks of establishing the rule of law, paving the way for justice and transparency, which are the basis for the current new reforms. Therefore, we always appreciate and thank you for your hard work, which you have done faithfully, day and night, regardless of time, and in a difficult and responsible way. In this regard, creating favorable conditions for your carefree work is one of the main tasks set by the Head of State. At the same time, I believe that today's auspicious event will allow you to adequately fulfill your duties, improve the quality and efficiency of your work, - said B. Isabayev.

It should be noted that on this day, a total of 40 vehicles were provided, that is, 4 official vehicles were provided to each district and city division of the regional police department. In particular, local police inspectors, patrol police received "Cjhevrolet Cobalt", environmental protection units received "Wingle 7", duty units received "GAZ Sobol", and the Panfilov district department received another additional vehicle - "JAC Sungar".  

In turn, the head of the regional police department, police colonel Sarkytbay Kusainov, took the floor and expressed gratitude for the support provided to the internal affairs bodies:

- Daily monitoring of the observance of proper order on the streets and in other public places, ensuring the safety of citizens is our main task. In this regard, we would like to thank those who provide great support for the material and technical equipment of our units, - he said.

In general, special attention is paid to strengthening the material and technical base of the internal affairs bodies in the region. For example, in 2022, 26 vehicles were purchased from the local budget. In addition, to date, a total of about 240 "Sergek", "Vidar", "Zerek" video cameras have been installed at 34 checkpoints in the region, including on the "Almaty - Ust-Kamenogorsk" highway and the roads of the city of Taldykorgan. 8 mobile complexes of various models have been purchased and installed on official vehicles of internal affairs bodies. Since it has been proven in practice that they have a significant impact on detecting violations of the law, 445 million tenge is allocated for the purchase of another 20 such mobile complexes in the coming year.
