Today, volunteers from the Zhetysu region went to the Blood Center in Taldykorgan to donate blood to help those affected by the Baku-Grozny passenger plane crash near the city of Aktau on December 25, - the press service of the Zhetysu region akim reports.

Young volunteers from the region were among the first to express their intention to donate blood. They are also calling on their friends and acquaintances to help those in need by donating blood.

- The sudden news of the plane crash in the city of Aktau has hit us all hard. How many people died in the crash, we pray for the souls of the deceased. We came to donate blood today to help the survivors recover quickly and reunite with their loved ones safely. We hope that such a difficult situation will not happen again, - said Zaida Kurmasheva, a member of the "Assembly Youth" volunteer group.

According to the regional blood center, 49 people donated blood by 12:00 today.

- Young volunteers are coming to the center to donate blood for those in need who were injured in the plane crash. So far, the blood donation center in Aktau has enough blood. If there is an urgent need for blood, we are ready to send it at any time, - said Marat Doskaliyev, director of the regional blood center. 

On behalf of the residents of the Zhetysu region, we express our condolences to the families and loved ones of those who died in the plane crash.
