Today, at a meeting with residents of Taldykorgan, the regional akim Beibit Isabayev outlined the main directions of development of the regional center, - the press service of the Zhetysu region akim reports.

- Summing up the meeting, I will dwell on the main directions of development of the city. The first is the security of the city. For this, the number of cameras installed to ensure public order will be increased to 585, and the number of "Sergek" cameras for road safety will be increased to 136. The second is to provide the city's residents with housing, heat, electricity, water, gas, high-quality roads, as well as the construction of hospitals, schools, cultural and sports facilities, thereby creating a comfortable city. The third is a beautiful and green city. This is landscaping courtyards and workout areas, parks, squares, street lighting, and repairing the facades and roofs of multi-storey buildings. All such measures for the systematic development of the economy are primarily aimed at improving the quality of life of the population in accordance with the instructions of the President, - B. noted. Isabayev.

The regional head, who spoke in detail about the results of Taldykorgan's socio-economic development over the past 11 months and about future plans for the improvement of the regional center, answered questions that concerned residents.

During the three-hour meeting, about 60 questions were asked to the regional akim. The townspeople mainly raised issues related to the housing and communal services sector, the development of social and road infrastructure, ensuring security, namely the establishment of a police base in the new 9th microdistrict, as well as support for small and medium-sized businesses, beekeeping, naming unnamed streets in new microdistricts, the creation of a wholesale market outside the city, the operation of public transport, and other issues. Some residents also expressed gratitude for the conditions created for the rehabilitation of children with special needs in the city.

As a result of the meeting, all questions were answered, and residents were also given the opportunity to submit their requests in writing. The meeting gave instructions to responsible persons on a number of topical issues.

It should be noted that 26 of the 36 issues raised by residents during the regional akim's meeting with residents last year have now been resolved. Work is underway on the remaining 10 issues.
